Support The Daytona Beach Juneteenth Celebration Events

BECOME A VENDOR OR EVENT SPONSOR FOR JUNETEENTH 2023

 

For 25 years a committed group of community volunteers and a dedicated group of sponsors have ensured the success of the Juneteenth Banquet and Festival events. The Daytona Beach Juneteenth Festival is the largest and longest-running Juneteenth event in the state of Florida. Planning is now underway for the 2023 Juneteenth National Holiday Community Celebration festival which will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. New this year is the addition of a fitness run and Juneteenth Parade, which will take place Saturday morning prior to the festival. Accordingly, we are strongly encouraging all vendors to
complete the set-up of food trucks, trailers, tents, tables, booths etc. on Friday. June 16, 2023, beginning at 5:30 pm. The Juneteenth Festival Committee, Inc. will provide professional security services overnight within the park.


We are also pleased to announce the return this year of the historic Sankofa Traveling Museum which includes a display of more than 500 artifacts that document African American life dating back to the 1800’s. This free, all-day community event will also include live musical entertainment, over 100 food and beverage vendors, merchandise, and sponsor interactive activity booths, dancing, children’s games, educational activities, and a Pound Cake Contest. In addition, proceeds from this event will help support college scholarships for area youth. The festival will be held at Cypress Park located at 925 George Engram Boulevard (corner of Nova Road and George Engram Boulevard).


Continuing this year is the Juneteenth banquet, which will take place on Monday, June 18, 2023, at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. To help make this celebration a success, we are inviting you to attend and represent your services, sell your unique arts and crafts, merchandise, and food at the festival. We are also inviting health and other service organizations to have a booth We anticipate approximately 6,000 people from within Volusia and Flagler Counties to attend the festival. This will be an opportunity for you to showcase your services or products and, at the same time, join the Juneteenth Festival Committee in celebrating this historic event.

JUNETEENTH COMMUNITY FESTIVAL
VENDOR INFORMATION

To offset expenses for the festival, the Juneteenth Committee is asking each 20X20 Food truck, booth or trailer to pay a registration fee in the amount of $266.25 which includes the 6.5% sales tax. Any vendor requesting a 20X20 space must pay $266.25 which includes the 6.5% sales tax.  New this year is the ability for food and beverage vendors to sell all non-alcoholic drinks except for bottled water which the committee will provide for sale.  The registration fee for a 10X10 merchandise or food booth vendor is $133.15 which includes the 6.5% sales tax, or $75.00 for a 10x10 foot space for non-profit organizations. Each non-profit must include a tax-exempt certificate with payment.


Payment must be made in advance in the form of a money order or cashier’s check payable to the Juneteenth Festival Committee or through Paypal. Booth spaces are assigned as soon as a completed registration form and full payment is received. Payments can be made through Paypal’s Juneteenth account below.


Paypal charges a 2.2% +$0.30 fee for eligible 501© (3) organizations and a 2.9% + $0.30 for all other organizations. Checks and money orders should be made out to the Juneteenth Festival Committee,
Inc. and can be submitted with your completed registration form and mailed to the committee at:
